Active Harmonic Filters

Active harmonic filters are connected in parallel to the busbar where the load is fed, which is the source of the harmonic. The harmonic components of the load current are measured by the AHF and injected into the system by producing a signal with equal amplitude but 180 degrees opposite phase to the harmonics. Thus, the current that flowed from grid doesn’t include harmonic components.
